XeDAR Corporation Wins SmartBUY Contract to Manage Electronic Records at Camp Victory in Iraq

Thursday, Jan 08, 2009

XeDAR Corporation provides homeland security and defense consulting and IT management-and-security services to the Departments of Homeland Security, Defense and others; national intelligence agencies; and the U.S. Military. It agreed today to Phase 1 of a multi-faceted Electronic Data and Records Management (EDRM) SmartBUY contract to upgrade records management and Call Center/Help Desk support for Camp Victory, the U.S. Military’s primary installation in Iraq. XeDAR’s work begins immediately and is expected to be completed in December, 2009; the total value of the initial contract is just over $864,000.

In addition to enhancing the existing data management software to include archival capability of any number of data systems there are two other responsibilities: provide Tier 1 Call Center/Help Desk support for some 1,800 users and provide Tier 2 detailed technical support for the installation of the software package Rules Composer, which complements the Microsoft collaboration MOSS 2007 and Exchange 2007 software. XeDAR’s role is to create, install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain the Rules Composer.
